Forgot (iforgot.apple.com) does not work as the account is already locked, is there another method to unlock Apple ID?

Apple ID got locked because of too many wrong security questions, iForgot doesn't work as the account is already locked, can someone help how to unlock the account?

My girlfriend has the same problem. She cannot access her account because it's locked. The rescue email was from a former company, so she cannot get there either. The security questions were never set up, so those don't work either.

She called apple support, and they said that she has to answer the security questions. Basically they are reading the website, and are not resetting anything for her. They keep saying she has to answer the security questions, which fail, and when you explain that to them they say she has to answer the security questions. It's going round and round in circles. Very expensive lack-of-support for just reading the webpage we are looking at ourselves.

How to get out of this situation?

See can't reset them yourself online : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions ?


If not then how us she contacting 'apple support', she is using the link/number for the country where she is (and which is therefore the country on her account) : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security ? If they can't confirm her id and that it's her account they can't reset them

If you can't remember the answers for your security questions and your Apple ID is now locked, you have to wait 8 hours. Your Apple ID will be reenable automatically after 8 hours. As I understand, the 8 hour lock is only related to your security questions/password so purchasing free content should be work. If you do not have a rescue mail to reset your questions, you have to contact Apples Account security team. Here you can find the world wide support phone numbers for your country:

They can verify your identity and reset the questions. Afterwards you can setup new questions.

Hello. Same problem. I sent a request for recovery. The answer will come in a few days. Is there a faster solution? Or is there a telephone number of the support service in Kazakhstan.
