If I join Viber does any other Viber user who has me on their contact list get notified of me joining, or only those Viber users on MY contact list?
Im curious because I don't particular want certain contacts to know I joined.

Hi, has this been improved? I have removed the app but I am not deactivating the account. I have checked and my name still appears on my friend's Viber contact list. So when I reinstall Viber app, will my friend receive a notification?

I recommend contacting the app developer, or reading their documentation, to find that answer.

When you join Viber, any Viber user that has your number in their contact list will receive a notification. There is no way to prevent that at this point.
