TJBUSMC1973's post requires you create a new Apple ID, as you won't be able to do so with your existing Apple ID. If you want to use your existing ID, you'll have to do as I posted.

Go purchase an iTunes gift card...they're sold pretty much everywhere...amounts range from US $15 to, I believe, US $100. On the back is a code, once activated(done at purchase), you redeem that code in iTunes.

Correct, you'll be able to select "None". But, you need to redeem the gift card first.

Do so on your computer, follow the directions in the support article I provided you a link for.
