Q: Fix for iTunes update 11.1.4 issues

When will there be a fix from Apple for the installing issues with iTunes update 11.1.4?

    Has any one tried this when their music is not in the default location?

     

    Most of the music I have is in a folder on another drive to where iTunes and Windows is installed due to having moved it all between computers years ago. I still have some iTunes stuff under My Music though. This seems to be the library file and some other stuff.

     

    Any idea if that will disappear or get confused with a reinstallation?

    Yes it will be fine. My library is stored at E:\iTunes and it was picked up properly as soon as I'd reinstalled.

    At last! It was the QTMovieWin file that was causing trhe problems.. thanks for letting us know!  After a week of trying to fix this, I have iTunes up and running again. Thanks for all the help... To whom in Apple should we send our Invoices?

    There seem to be a number of different problems affecting different users. Which, if any, affect each person probably depends on exactly which builds of iTunes they've had installed in the past, plus factors unknown.
