I'm getting a runtime error R6034--an attempt to load the C runtime library was done incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more info

I just purchased an I phone and I needed to install a more recent version of I tunes on my computer. I've tried installing different version of the 11 and then uninstalled and reinstalled but I keep getting this error message and I can't open I tunes on my computer. Any ideas that I can try as I'm running out of patience! Thakns, K

Hello, salemk.

Thank you for the question. I see you have uninstalled, reinstalled and the error is persisting. Try one more time uninstalling all components of iTunes in the order specified of the article below. These steps must be processed in the order specified or the error will persist. Once this is done attempt to install iTunes again.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

If the issue persists, you will need to process the steps in the article below for each component and reinstall.
