My MacBook Air is not loading

My MacBook Air is not loading. It starts loading with the Apple logo displayed on a white screen, then a loading bar commences, stops at about 10% then the laptop switches off. And same thing goes on and on.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
