When i left the U.S. I had iMessage activated but after 2 weeks overseas I could not send an i message via WiFi saying that i needed to activate iMessage. I went to activate but I constantly "Waiting for activation..." How do I activate iMessage when I do not have a cell data connection only WiFi overseas?

You need a cellular network connection to activate iMessage and FaceTime with your iPhone phone number.
