Q: I can't continue listening to the song I had paused

I have a playlist in my music on shuffle and when I put the current song on pause and come back to it later I can't continue the songs from where I left off. I used to slide up the control center and just press play to continue the song I was on, but that won't work anymore.

    Hi karina214,

    Welcome to the Support Communities!

Does this behaviour happen with any song, or only a specific song?  I would suggest resetting the iPod shuffle to resolve the issue.

    Thanks

this happens with any song. I was able to just go to "now playing" and continue whatever song i was on, but now the "now playing" dissapears after a couple oh hours or sometimes within minutes. I'm using an iphone 5 and not the ipod shuffle but I will still try to reset it and see if this problem is fixed.

I'm having the same problem. I am using an iphone 5 that I recently updated to 7.04. I am listening to the same songs. I used to be able to pause the tract, then hit play and it would continue at the spot I left off on. Now it resets to the beginning of the song/tract. Very annoying as I listen to a lot of audiobooks that have long tracts.
