I recently got the iPhone 5s, and have been having trouble with setting an alarm on the reminders app. When I set the date and time for the alarm, I hit done and I can see when the alarm is set for under the task. After about 5 seconds, the date disappears, and the alarm will no longer go off. Is there any way to fix this?

I think the problem is that reminders just doesn't work! Life's too short - The best thing is to stop wasting time trying to figure out a completely dysfunctional app until you hear that apple have reverted to the old one, or bought out a new one that does work.

I've been having this problem on my 5s since the update to 7. I just update to iOS 8.4 and it still has not fixed the issue. I have even restored to factory settings NO JOY!!!.
I still have one of my original reminder that transferred from my 4s and it still reminds me to take my medicine every morning at 7 am. But all new reminders remove the date and time, even when done through SIRI.
Can Apple spend some time on support for the not so old products?
But I guess 637 views of this question is not worthy of an update fix.
