Rented movie stops playing after five to ten min and has to be restarted over and over.

Our movie played for about ten minutes the it just stopped and went back to home page, had to go back to rented movies and restart by hitting resume. Did this about 6 times to finish watching the movie! This has never happened before. We also noticed that the some of the previews stopped playing before they were finished.
