I know what you're going through. It is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING working with Apple products when simple things go wrong. They do not do things logically. I forgot my Apple ID password. Instead of simply sending an email to my Apple ID (which is an email address I previously verified), they sent the password recovery email ONLY to my rescue email address which is an email address I have not used in years! So I have NOT received the recovery email to the ONE OBVIOUS PLACE they should have sent it to. How stupid is that?
