I've already uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, but now it's telling me that the iPod software update server couldn't be contacted or is unavailable.... 😟 Anyone with a little advice?
iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.3
Update Server
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
My dog unplugged my iPod 4g in the middle of an update and now it won't restore....at all. Help??
