Before the Intel switch there were lot's of G4 apps. I just can't seem to find any though! Can anybody point me in the direction of them? I don't want any sites like cnet and and the pirate bay.

I think this will be easier for people to answer if you listed the kinds of tasks you wish to accomplish with the G4.

C!Net is only bad if you use one of their optimizers or downloaders. They still are able to properly filter older software to some extent. And when you say G4 Apps, do you mean ones that run on:
Mac OS X 10.5 to 10.5.8 on a G4, Mac oS X 10.4 to 10.4.11, or an earlier Mac OS X, or an earlier Mac OS 9?
The oldest G4 came with Mac OS 8.6.

I would like software that runs on a Dual Core Power Mac G5 running OS X 10.5.8
There was a version of Final Cut Express that worked on G4s. And of course there are versions of iLife that work on it. Utility apps, the only one I would recommend is a backup program. Carbon Copy Cloner and Superduper both had versions that worked with PowerPC. Check with them. See this thread on web browsing:
