I have an article for you that will show you how to view previously purchased TV episodes on your Apple TV:

To view previously purchased TV shows on your Apple TV (2nd generation or 3rd generation)

1. On the Apple TV main menu, choose TV Shows > Purchased.
2. Your purchased TV shows will be displayed by show titles.
3. When you find a TV show you would like to browse, select it.
4. Find the episode you would like to view and select it.
5. Choose Play.
