i can't open some programs from my ipad anymore

i can't open some programs from my ipad anymore, not even the general setting; and i can't update to higher version of the softwear, currently it's 5.1.1.

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Your info suggests that you currently use a first generation iPad. Refer to the chart on the lower part of the attachment:

The only thing you can do is get something newer than a first generation iPad.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
