I own > 300 jazz CDs (legitimately purchased) and was told at the Apple Store I could record and upload those to my iPhone and iCloud. But I am unable to find them once I record them on my laptop. Where are they?

How to get my CD library onto my iPhone?

The 300 jazz CDs are getting recorded on my laptop and some seem to get uploaded to the phone music library, some don't. For some the album artwork shows up, for others nothing.

If an album is not part of the iTunes library, then can it or will it be uploaded?

If not, then I begin to understand why my colleagues prefer Spotify. Too many of the jazz CDs are relatively obscure European recordings and may not ever be in the iTunes store.
