My computer works but now I can't connect to my monitor it works with my dell monitor has been ok for three months until now

My comp works only , 3 months old, it did work with my monitor until yesterday it will work on my dell, but now when I connect to my monitor the monitor screen is blank I have tried all the basics cables etc power etc
