iPad
reset
Restore first with backup then if required as new to eliminate sottware issues ,
try another cable
Take it to Apple Store along with iPad
I think restoration won't help because I tried it with my iphone and saw the same message on display, luckily I have 2 cables, the second one is operating well, but what happened to the first one ? No one had the same problem before as I understand, I found nothing about it on internet
If it is less than 12 months old it is covered by warranty ,take it to an Apple Store genius bar for evaluation
