Jan 30, 2014 4:38 AM in response to BDAquaby Neville Hillyer,★HelpfulI could not get your link to work but the following works for me:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
Apple may have changed server settings concerning capitals.
The details are:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
- Shut down your Mac.
- Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
- Turn on the computer.
- Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
- Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
- Release the keys.

Nov 9, 2014 9:10 AM in response to nuge005by houstonalle,I followed the pram steps, the restart from C, disk utility, etc. steps. Too a few times but I finally got it to stop asking for Disk 2 and was able to access Disk recovery boot option, then erase HD. Thanks, Neville Hillyer for the detailed instructions.
