Update Error

After unsuccessfully trying to update to iTunes 11.1.4., I get the following erors when trying to open iTunes:

HelperMsgListenerWnd:iTunesHelper.exe-System Error

"The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

iTunes

iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes

Error 7 (Window error 126)

I've tried to reinstall iTunes and I've also updated Microsoft's .NET Framework as per the resolution iniTunes Error 7 support, but neither has helped me restablish iTunes.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and have a resolution that they are willing to share?
