Q: trying to reinstall itunes

HI I am trying to reinstall itunes on a PC running windows 8 and keep getting the error " Service Apple mobile device failed to start. Verify you have sufficient provileges to start system services" with the choics of abort, retry and ignore. If I ignore I get the error "MSVCR80.DCC 7window 126". Any suggestions??

Same problem except it occured when itunes was updating itself and I have Vista and the message was...MSVCR80.dll was not found... I eventually uninstalled itunes and tried again. Same problem occurred.
