Can anyone suggest the best way to watch these video files on ipad , please.

.fiv and .wmv is not supported by ipad, you could not watch them directly on ipad! But you could use video converters to convert your video to .mp4 that ipad support! I always ues Total Video Converter for Mac! You could find this app in App Store! Hope my answer can help you!
