My iPad Isn't Turning On

So i have an ipad 2 gen. and its updated to the newest version of ios 7 (must be like 7.0.2 i think) and it was super slow and drained my battery really fast so i deleted almost all my apps and even deleting one app took about 5-15 seconds for the confim delete pop up to come up, then after i deleted them i turned it off and after it turned off i turned it back on and its stuck on the first apple logo screen. Ive tried the manual restart (home and lock button) and still is stuck. Please help, i need my ipad urgently. Thanks
