I can't get my printer to print since last update to software on my mac. tried driver updates for hp 6500 office jet to no avail...any suggestions to get a printer to print again? feeds the paper through but won't use any ink for some reason...

I can't get my printer to print with ink for some reason since updating to 10.9.1 I've updated drivers and printer software...deleted, formatted, reinstalled blah blah blah.

printer runs the paper through and won't use ink. I'm bloody ****** becaused of course it's when you want to use it it's for a reason...like you need it now. garbage.

no answers online after spending last 4 hrs searching and software updates and reinstalls...

any help appreciated as this is a first for me. cant make a printer work. absolute garbage
