Q: unknown error 3014 when updating ipad2

I was trying to update my ipad 2 to 7.0.4 and I got an unknow error 3014.  When I connect back it says it is in restore and it must be restored.  However, it will not let me restore to my previous back up which was done prior to attempting to update..  Does anyone know what to do.  I can't even restore.
