The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be re-activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored.
thank you very much for you answer sir, but is there any possibility that i can get it back my iphone without having my serial number? but it is was running ios7 but my carrier did not offer any blacklisting 😟
and i am not really sure if my sister activate the app find my iphone before she gave it to me as a present
It is unlikely you will ever see the phone again. But have your sister sign in to iCloud to see if the phone is listed there. If the phone is on and connected to the internet,vYou will be able to lock it, erase it or send a message to it. Retread Wjosten post again as he provides all the details.
😟 thats the problem because i dont want to inform my sister about it because she will gonna get mad at me forever for that! because she almost spent her four months salary to pay for that iphone, then i just lost it on that stupid place 😟 i will do everything to get it back.. what if my iphone was disabled?
You have no choice but to do what's been suggested here and suck it up with your sister. She is going to find out sooner or later, anyhow.
