Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I was given a hand-down ipod mini model M9436FE recently. I installed the software to my computer (window xp), after completion, the message "This program has known compatibility issues" appeared. Clicked on "check for solutions online", there isn't any solution. How can I solve this,please.

- Empty your Temp folder and restart your computer.

- Windows XP: Follow these steps to remove and reinstall iTunes and other software components for Windows XP.
- Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Follow these steps to remove and reinstall iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.
- Songs you purchased from the iTunes Store or imported from CDs are saved in your My Music folder by default and won't be deleted by removing iTunes.
- You may need to remove and reinstall iTunes several times while following these steps. It's important to remove iTunes and its components again after you empty the Temp folder.
- Install the latest version of iTunes.
After you empty your Temp folder and remove iTunes and its related components, you can install the latest version of iTunes.
