Iv'e had this ipod on the same comp. since 4/2011. Now out of the blue I cant sync or do Anything. A window pops up and says this application has failed to start because mscvcr80.dll not found. Re-installing may fix problem. I;m NOT a comp. wiz. HELP

Iv'e had this ipod on the same comp. since 04/2011. Never had a problem downloading/syncing. Now out of the blue when I plug the ipod in the comp to do anything a grey box pops up. It says ( this application has failed to start because msvcr80.dll not found. Re-installing may fix problem. I have not done anything new to this comp recently and don't understand what's going on. Although it is an old comp. Not a wiz at this and don't know how to re-install.
