You should use Win7_64 (and 64-bit drivers) for Windows.

Bootcamp automatically installs the drivers when Windows is installed the first time. If you upgrade Windows, you will need appropriate drivers for your hardware from Bootcamp Downloads page. Please verify System Requirements first.

I already updated bootcamp to 5.1 but if I just do the drivers for NVidia from the bootcamp 4.0.4033 the windows64, then this should put the drivers in for Coprocessor and Sm Bus Controller? as the 5.1 don't

I suggest testing by installing this driver. If it does not work, roll it back. My suggestion to create a System Restore Point before you update.

I have now tried all the updates from 4 to 5 etc in bootcamp and none of them work in fixing the drivers for Coprocessor and SM Bus Controller? they still not have the drivers, what are they for anyway? I have MacBook 13inch mid 2010 os x lion 10.7.5 I have update the lion to Yosemite and I have bootcamp the MacBook for windows 8 pro now updated to 8.1 and the only thing that doesn't have drivers from any of the bootcamps is Coprocessor and SM Bus Controller? ta

I did it by using cmd with administrater rights then following the path to where u saved the file .etc : C:\Windows\Users\EnterYourUserNameHere\Downloads\BootCamp5.0.5033\BootCamp\Driv ers\Apple

Hi, I managed to install the Drivers for the Coprocessor and SM Bus Controller by extracting the bootcamp4 file called bootcamp to the desktop then I went into the device manager clicked on the Coprocessor and then tell it to look at the bootcamp on the desktop and then it put the files in and I also did it for the SM Bus Controller . all good now thanks

Searching for that online, it appears that this is the nVidia MCP79 Co processor System.

This driver did not install with version 306.37 that came with the BootCamp drivers. I downloaded the current version from nVidia of 334.89 and that didn't work either. I searched online and found a driver for an Alienware 17x that uses the same co processor and ran the installer which extracted the files for the nVidia chipset v. 15.57 for 64-bit Windows 7 and Vista to c:\dell\drivers\R273039 and pointed the Device Manager to this folder and it was able to successfully install the driver software for the Management Controller (drivers are listed under the SMU folder for the "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0AA3" device).

I then proceeded to use Double Driver to backup the drivers in use by the system so that if I install Windows 8 on future systems I can use this rather than the round-about way of getting the driver installed on the system.

As you described, I downloaded the dell R273039 soft pack, extracted to a folder in my C:\ drive using 7-zip and then pointed the "update driver" option from the Coprocessor item under Device Manager.

Now I can say I have a 100% functional Macbook 13" (mid 2009) running bootcamp 5 with windows 8.1, all from a triple boot rEFInd with OSx, Win8.1 and Ubuntu 15.04. Even my bluetooth mouse works across all three systems!

For those installing Win8.1 and getting the BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD, the solution is to first test your entire RAM with memtest86 and, if no errors found, upgrade your bootcamp v4 to a v5.
