Installing quicktime 7 pro?

Hi, can anyone help me?

I want to get Quicktime 7 pro on my mac. I just bought the registration code and expected everything to just follow from there...

I have quicktime on my mac how do i get quicktime 7 pro? I tried following apples advice but stumbled at the first hurdle after going into the finder (which it directs you to) my first problem is i couldnt find 'go' so typed 'utilities' into search then found quicktime, but not quicktime 7 pro? PLease help.

Open the QuickTime Player, choose Registration from the QuickTime Player 7 menu, and supply the code there.

If QuickTime Player 7 is not in the Utilties folder already, you can download it here:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL923

Install it and then enter your Pro key through the Registration command under the "QuickTime Player 7" menu (the one just to the right of the Apple menu).

Thank you both for your suggestions. I installed quicktime 7 and still no way of opening. The quicktime icon is still down the bottom of my screen and in my applications but when i open it, it doesn't open. Also when i go into my finder quicktime doesn't show? What is going on?

Did you look for QuickTime Player 7 in the Utilities folder? The player version in the Applications folder and most probably in your Dock would be QuickTime Player X. You need to find QuickTime Player 7.
