dpi? Formatting for Kindle's not to exceed 300 dpi requirement

Ok, I understand there is no dpi in iPhoto.

I'm formatting for Kindle and the requirement is that photos not exceed 300 dpi... What do I do to assure this before I go to all the work of inserting and uploading?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.1)

test one?

Do the math - what sie is the kindle screen? Multiply by 300 - export your uploads to that size?

contact Kindle support?

It is not an iPhoto issue - once you know excaly what you want to accomplish then iPhoto users can assist you in accomplishing that

BTW - it is not iphoto that has no DPI - No Digital photo has DPI since no digital photo has inches - DPI is a calculation - NOT a setting
