I downloaded iPhoto a while back and accidentally deleted it off my iPhoto and when I try to redownload it, it doesn't download to my device. Does anyone know why?

Well at the minute I am unable to sync my iPhone 5S with my MacBook as the software is too old. D'ya reckon this is why? I just went on the link you sent and it mentioned using iTunes?
Have you tried downloading it from here:
Open the App Store app > Updates > Purchased
Yes I already tried that. It's so frustrating!
And what happens?
It should be possible directly on your device: From the link I poined to:
- Tap App Store.
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
- Tap Updates.
- Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
- Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
- Tap the download icon.
- The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.
Where does this not work?
Whenever I try to download it, it says it's has already been purchased and no additional charge will take effect. Then suddenly just stops downloading, and keeps happening whenever I continue to download it. I am using the same apple account and signed in. This is seriously tapping my brain!
Try this:
Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up
and
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
