Using Account Track

I am trying to print from the new OS to a Konica Minolta using account track, but no matter what I try I can't get the machine to accept the print job. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

I don't know KM products but based on what I do know about Canon and its job accounting function I would suggest you need to check that you have this facility enabled in the driver. This could be done by opening Printers & Scanners and selecting the KM printer then clicking on Options & Supplies. If you have an Options tab then see if the account track facility is listed. If so, enable it.

If there is no Options tab or the account facility is not listed, then still in the Options & Supplies tab, if you have the Utility tab select this and open the listed KM utility. There might be a setting to enable in this subsequent window.

With the setting enabled I would then expect you to be able to enter your account details via one of the printer menus in the print dialog.

Yeah, that would be how you would do it, but I have it enabled in the driver, I even went into cups to make sure that it is enabled. Apple was nice and actually put it directly into the driver so that it doesn't have to be enabled in cups first, but even after putting in the user name and pin the machine won't accept it. I know it isn't an issue with the pin itself, since I can use the pin on a windows machine and on the Konica itself without a problem. I've matched up all the settings between the mac and the windows machine, and tried every possible user name and pin combination I could think of, and the Konica still won't accept the pin.
