I have an Apple TV and the mirror symbol does not appears on my I phone 5 despite been connected to the same wireless network. What can I do to me it work?

I just but this Apple TV on dec . Suppose to be the latest. I use to have an older version and used to work. What I have done different is upgrading the devise and upgrading my operating system to ios7 . I am interested in transmitting Skype and FaceTime to the apple tv
