I have an old sony DSR-PD100AP. Whats the easiest way to get my mini DV tapes uploaded to my iMac or Macbook pro? I'm a beginner!

I've just started using imovie and was wondering if anyone could advise on the easiest method of uploading my Mini Dv tapes?

My camcorder has outlets for S Video, Yellow Audio/Video slot, Lanc (?) DV in/out (which I think is an ilink, again ???
