After recently installing the new itunes, now when i plug in my iphone, it doesn,t appear in intunes and i don't know why. I've reinstalled itunes, restarted my computer and restarted my phone, is there anything else ic an do?

I have a problem with itunes as well. I synced some pictures from my pictures on my computer to my iphone. Now I have a folder called ipod photo cache. There are folders inside this folder that doesn't display any pictures or anything. Are these the photos I transferred to my iphone? Or is this my photo library from my iphone transferred to my
Computer in this ipod photo cache?

All photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process are optimized for viewing on the iPhone. The same applied when transferring photos to an iPod that supported photos being transferred so the name of the optimized folder is iPod Photo Cache which remains the same name for photos transferred to an iPhone and any other iOS device.
The iPod Photo Cache folder includes nothing that is accessible and can't be deleted. If deleted, all photos selected to be transferred to your iPhone from your computer will be re-optimized again and re-transferred along with the iPod Photo Cache folder being recreated.
This has nothing to do with photos/videos imported by your computer from the iPhone's Camera Roll.
So when syncing photos from the computer to the iphone there is no way for the photos to be transferred from the iphone to be transferred to the computer?
The import of photos/videos from the iPhone's Camera Roll is not handled by iTunes. This allows photos/videos being imported from the Camera Roll with any computer - with any computer not being used to sync the iPhone.
What allows photos/videos being imported from the camera roll with any computer - not being used to sync the iphone. Sorry I'm confused by what you mean.
When there are photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll, the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to a computer. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can be imported by a computer as with any other digital camera.
Ok I got what your saying now. Do the photos upload automatically or do you have to take actions for the photos to be uploaded?
As with any other digital camera, the importing of photos/videos from the Camera Roll is not automatic.
