This was half helpful, Thanks! So for my part I had to combine this trick to the one suggested by Apple Support: try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.


  1. Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
  2. Hold down the Home button and the Sleep button at the same time on your IPhone as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
