I can't add music files or anything to the new itunes. I have an Ipod 4th Gener.

I have an Ipod 4th generation, and the latest version of itunes (11.1.4).

I wanted to add new songs from my computer drive but nothing is working. When i drag the file and try to drop it on itunes, it displays a circle-cross sign.

Although I can add files to the main itunes library but not the library labeled "On this ipod" which is where ALL of my files are. Hence no files are added to my device.

Please help me. Thank you.
