My iPhone 5 was dropped on the road and found later in snow slush. The terribly smashed screen is repaired and everything works fine, except the cameras and flash. The lower water damage indicator is red. The place I took it to also offers a water damage repair service. Is there any hope at this point?

Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warranty "repair" price that pays for an exchange at a significantly reduced price off the full retail sales price. The exchange will be the same model, storage capacity, and color.
If a 3rd party replaced the screen, Apple won't provide this option.
They only charge a small price for labour if it isn't fixed. Apple's option was not avaliable since it's an Australian phone and I currently live in the US.
