I'm cleaning up my photos (over 100,000). I noticed that the date and time that iPhoto/Aperture marks the photos isn't the same as the "Created", "Modified", or "Last Opened" dates and times. So, how do I get the created date to be the date that iPhoto/Aperture to see it as? Is there an app, or process, that will automatically sync these dates?

I'm not sure where you're seeing these dates reported.
In general:
There are two kinds of metadata involved when you consider jpeg or other image file.
One is the file data. This is what the Finder shows. This tells you nothing about the contents of the file, just the File itself.
The problem with File metadata is that it can easily change as the file is moved from place to place or exported, e-mailed, uploaded etc.
Photographs have also got both Exif and IPTC metadata. The date and time that your camera snapped the Photograph is recorded in the Exif metadata. Regardless if what the file date says, this is the actual time recorded by the camera.
Photo applications like iPhoto, Aperture, Lightroom, Picasa, Photoshop etc get their date and time from the Exif metadata.
When you export from iPhoto to the Finder new file is created containing your Photo (and its Exif). The File date is - quite accurately - reported as the date of Export.
However, the Photo Date doesn't change.
The problem is that the Finder doesn't work with Exif.
So, your photo has the correct date, and so does the file, but they are different things. To sort on the Photo date you'll need to use a photo app.
Thanks Terence... But, what happens when the 'file' date IS the correct date? How do I change the exif? Example: iPhoto shows the date as 01/01/1980 but the file date is 03/17/2005. The photo was actually taken in 2005.
Btw, I'm seeing these dates in Finder when selecting the file. On the right side of the screen, I see the photo preview then, the file name. Finally, I see the Created, Modified, and last Opened (Dates)...
Are these photos from a digital camera? Or were they scanned?
If they were scanned then you change the date using the bathc change data and time comand - if they are form a camera then you use either the bathc change or the adjust command depending on what you need to accomplish

These photos came from a variety of digital cameras... everything from a Sony digital camera to various Blackberry phones to HTC Evo 4G to several iPhones. There aren't any scanned photos at all.
Since there are so many photos, is there an app, or process, that can check the Created date/time and automatically set the exif to match that?
