No, There are no viruses which can run on the iPhone.

Unless a device has been jailbroken, there is virtually no way to get a virus on an iOS device. This includes iphones, ipads and ipods.

I haven't done a jailbrake on my phone but every time I am in safari, when I click a link I get "pop ups" (aka a new page opens) to random websites. They are pages I have always been on, ones I know to be safe, so how do you explain that if not a virus?
Your wireless router has probably been hacked. You will need to reset it to factory defaults, update it's firmware, lock it's security down tight, and probably ought to contact the router manufacturer about any further steps that may be necessary.
