I have had 3 iPad Air 2s and they have all had this problem. It seems to be the rear camera only. I've decided to live with it. I hardly use the rear camera anyway.
The rear camera of my ipad air 2 has the similar problem (malfunction).
The camera is usually OK, but sometimes (twice per week?) it get pictures like this (pink, black stripes / lines).
Because this error is unpredictable, apple refused to repair it or replace the ipad for me.
I can not live with it.
I have to prove the picture was taken by my ipad or stably reproduce the error and show it to apple and the world.
I get the same thing! Help!
