Malware download through logmein123.com

Hi!

Yesterday I was stupid enough to fall for a telephone scam. I blame it on being tired and did not realise I was being scammed until way too late.

This meant that I talked to a "support technician" who asked me log in to www.logmein123.com, which I did, and then I also downloaded a program that was supposed to clean the computer. Not until then did I realise that this was a total scam. I immediately hung up and deleted the software.

What I am now worried about is how much have they potentially harmed my computer??! I did download this software. How do I get rid of it as quickly as possible.

They have my phone number and email address. What stepts should I take as a precaution?? Change passwords, contact my bank, etc.??

I really hope this goes away!!

Thank you for your help!
