Q: Calendar & iCloud "403" error message

I upgraded to Maverick and now the Calendar has a problem which is stated below

Access to account iCloud is not permitted.

The Server responded:

"403"

to operationCalDAVMigrateToServerQueueableOperation

Any ideas?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

I find no such folder 'iCal' under Library > Application Support.  I have OS X 10.9.2

Where else would 'iCal' be located?

I also did what thorpey0111 suggested and lost many of the Calendar appointments.

This solution does not work for me.  I can get the error to cease if I log out of icloud and restart.  But if I log back in to icloud and select calendar, the error recurs.  It also recurs if you enable keychain or back to my mac.  The only solution I have found is to either not use ical or leave icloud all three - calendar, keychain and Back to my Mac - unchecked. Luckily I use another default calendar as the master anyway so I can enable everything and just not use ical until apple fixes this bug.

I should have added, i tried disabling icloud on all devices too and the error recurs with just the Mac running ical.

The problem in this way exists since September. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do.

Even when you buy a new iMac and just login with your iCloud account you will also get the iCal error until the 403 issue gets fixed on server side.

PS: Before September 2014 some people got the very same error message but it was not the very same issue.

I have Yosemite, and am having the same problem.  I deleted my entire iCloud account and set it up again - no resolution.  Very frustrating.

I did this (though I renamed the folder instead of deleting it) then restarted iCal - nothing is there, so I presume iCloud will refresh it entirely - how long does this take?  I've waited maybe 5 minutes and still nothing is there.  I hope it all comes back - maybe I should have done this on a slow vacation time???

    Thanks
