Am I the only one having difficulties downloading the daily The Star sudoku puzzle onto my iPad Air? I seem to be able to go to thestar.com/diversions site on my MacBook Pro and the puzzle comes up and opens up so I can play it. On my iPad I get the same image, but there is a blank under the Sudoku sign. Am I supposed to be looking at an app to be able to do this?😕

The sudoku puzzle requires Flash so it won't work on Safari. You could try on of the browsers that provide some Flash support , e.g., Puffin, iSwifter, etc. or you could try The Star Mobile App.

Thanks for the reply. I searched iSwifter and decided that I really don't want to play a ton of games (just want to do crosswords and sudoku) and I feel it will likely be too much app for my needs. When i clicked on the link to the Star mobile app, it came up as some app from Malasia and didn't even look like the Toronto Star pages I have seen. So I won't be using that app. I may have to "purchase" the Toronto Star for tablets and pay an ongoing fee to "read" the paper in order to be able to do sudoku? But will this provide "flash" support, I don't know?
Does this also mean that I will not be able to play any SUDOKU games, even from other sources or APPS?😟
I'm afraid that many of the Sudoku web games will probably require Flash.
However, there are several Sudoku Apps in the App Store which are very good.

Thanks for your help. I have downloaded your recommendation after reading about it including the reviews. I am anxious to try it. I guess the iPad can't do EVERYTHING 😟, BUT there is a lot it can do.

1. free
2. daily crossword that works fine the on the pad.
3. Daily sudoku that works fine on the pad.
all the lements for my morining comute.
