Q: Entered and erroneous email for new apple id on iphone. How do I fix this?

I tried to create an apple id account for my new iphone, but entered my email address erroneously. Now it thinks that is my apple id email account. I cannot sync it to itunes. I went to apple support online and created a new account with the correct email address. How can I use this new account for my iphone?

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.1

Hi pobiphone,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If you need to change the Apple ID you're signed in with on your iPhone, this article has steps that may help:

iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store Apple ID account
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1311
Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.
