Q: My iphone 4shas failed to connect with my mac and pc via bluetooth. What might be the problem?

My iphone4s has failed to connect with my mac and pc via bluetooth.What might be the problem? The iphone shows it is discoverable yet it keeps on searching for the pc and mac to no avail. The mac sees the phone but cannot pair with it.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

The iPhone will only connect via Bluetooth if being used for Personal Hotspot. You cannot connect the devices via Bluetooth for any other purpose.
