My ipad was stolen and the location was incorrect when using the location service. I was wondering why location isn't exact? I did eventually recover my ipad and upon rechecking the location address from my home it showed the ipad as being next door in the far back part of their yard.

You must have a wifi only iPad. It's not as accurate as a wifi + cellular iPad that has GPS.

Thanks for your input Tex..but as I stated in my categories-I have a wi-fi and cellular. Any other suggestions?
The device may have been in an area where it could not see 3 satellites. This will reduce the accuracy or reduce you to seeing the last place it could be located.
