Is there software to keep an eye on my young daughters phone usage to make sure she is not going places that are unsafe or inapproriate?
There are some browsers you can find in the App store. I'm guessing you are trying to limit where she surfs the web? Some of the carriers also provide some parental limit controls, but most cost monthly, depending on where you are located. There are also restrictions on the phone in the Settings>General>Restrictions area. Those are also things you can take a look at. The only problem with using the carrier limits is that the device can connect to wifi and that will disable that restriction.
