Playing A Playlist

Can anyone tell me why when I'm listening to a playlist on shuffle, a song I really like will come on and I'll go to repeat it only to have the shuffle restart to song 1. This only happens on my 5g iPod touch. Any help or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks!
